We have already told you how our experts helped Katya* meet her grandmother. That was when Katya found out that her mother was imprisoned. Strange as it may seem, the girl was happy to hear such news – she used to think that her mother simply DIDN’T WANT to contact her.
Left without parental care in her early childhood, Katya lived in an orphanage. She got to spend a few years in a foster family but was eventually returned to the facility.
Our experts managed to establish a correspondence between Katya and her mother. The woman was happy when her grown daughter suddenly began to send her letters. This communication became special for the girl as well. Katya’s mother is going to be released this September – which is earlier than was previously planned – due to the amnesty which was declared to commemorate the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. We hope that it will help the mother and the daughter meet sooner. Our experts will continue to help Katya and her mother to develop their relationships. For someone who had spent years in an orphanage, torn from their family and knowing nothing about their closest relatives, contact with their mother is a most precious experience.
